The Booth Western Art Museum is pleased to present Songwriter Musician: Nashville Photography by Ed Rode, a compelling photographic exhibition celebrating the people behind America’s most influential songs. Over thirty years in the making, this exhibition features fifty-one photographs of songwriters, players, and singers, spanning generations, genres, and levels of fame.
Artists featured in the exhibition include Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, George Strait, Taylor Swift, John Prine, Alan Jackson, Patsy Montana, Waylon Jennings, Marty Stuart, and many more. Each photography photography is accompanied by Rode’s personal reflections and concise artist biographies, placing individual moments within the broader narrative of Nashville’s evolving music scene.
