Booth Photography Guild
The Booth Photography Guild (BPG) was founded in 2010 in conjunction with a group of interested and experienced photography members of Booth Museum. BPG offers educational opportunities related to all aspects of digital photography for anyone interested in photography – no matter the skill level. BPG holds monthly meetings on the second Saturday from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm in Bergman Theatre at Booth Museum. Through its affiliation with The Booth, BPG is able to provide programming of a national scale, including critiques of members’ work by a professional photographer, hands-on classes, as well as lectures by visiting photographers. Throughout the year, workshops and classes on post processing software are offered along with a regular BPG Lecture Series. Each fall, BPG members can participate in the professionally juried Booth Photography Guild Annual Exhibition in Borderlands Gallery. BPG members also have the opportunity to show and sell their works through the juried Artist’s Choice Exhibitions at the Downtown Gallery.
