Girl Scout Badge Frenzy
Saturday, October 10, 2026
9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
REGISTRATION REQUIRED
The Booth Western Art Museum and Bartow History Museum will host a combined workshop designed for Junior Girl Scouts (Grades 4-5).
Girl Scouts will earn the Junior Art and Design Badge and Georgia’s Native Peoples Council’s Own Badge from the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta.
At the Booth Western Art Museum, participants will explore the elements of art and principles of design through immersive, hands-on activities. Participants will tour the galleries with an educator to explore the principles and elements of design through artwork. Once finished in the galleries, students will make a one-of-a-kind landscape painting.
At the Bartow History Museum, participants will explore the rich history and culture of the Cherokee and Muscogee people through storytelling, hands-on crafts, and interactive activities. Scouts will learn about the tribes’ original homelands in Georgia and gain insight into their lives before and during Removal.
All attending Girl Scouts will complete the full badge requirements and receive their badge at the end of the program.
Lunch Information: Participants should bring their own lunch for this all-day program. A designated 30-minute lunch period will be held in the Booth ballroom. Please note that outside delivery services, including Uber Eats and DoorDash, are not allowed. If preferred, participants may purchase a sack lunch at the beginning of the day from the Booth Bistro.
Please remember that Girl Scouts should always be accompanied by a Troop Leader, parent, or guardian. This will not be a drop-off program.
