Home School Day- Wildlife & Landscapes- Bartow History Museum & Booth Museum 

A special day for families! Activities are from 10 am- 2 pm.  Join the Booth and Bartow History Museum and learn about animals, plant life and environments/landscapes based on artwork and stations throughout the Museums.  To celebrate our Out of Africa and Into the West exhibition, Georgia Reptile Society will be onsite sharing animals from Africa and the American West!  Lots of fun, hands-on activities included! Home school students ages 5-12 years; online registration required (link coming soon).  $6.00 for students; $6.00 for parents.

Home School Fridays, Ages 7 – 12 (Found Frames)
October 1, 2021

1:00 – 2:30 pm

Create two companion portraits by repurposing a plate as a new way to create a masterpiece like Booth Museum permanent collection artist Jim Vogel, who frames his artwork with unique, everyday materials. Home School Fridays, Ages 7 -12  (Navajo Inspired Textile Design)
November 5, 2021

1:00 – 2:30 pm

Create geometric shapes using various media to produce a mock textile work inspired by Navaho Dine’ American Indian design.
