Children’s Summer Art Programs

Pottery (Ages 7-12) Session I
Tuesday – Friday, June 7 – 10, 2022, 9:00 am to noon

All levels of potters are welcome in this class where you are certain to have plenty of messy, muddy fun!  You will learn pinch, coil, and slab building and get lots of time on the potter’s wheel!

Fee: $125  for Museum members, $150 for not-yet-members

Glazing Day: Friday, June 24, 2022, 9:00 am to noon

Radical Reptiles (Ages 7 – 12) Session I
Tuesday – Friday, June 14 – 17, 2022, 9:00 am to noon

Where else can you combine two of your favorite things (art and reptiles) into one week of fun!  You’ll be able to interact with live animals as you create art inspired by these amazing creatures!      

Fee: $125  for Museum members, $150 for not-yet-members

Meet the Masters (Ages 7 – 12)
Tuesday – Friday,  June 21 – 24, 2022, 9:00 am to noon

Jump in head-first to this exciting and fast-paced painting class where you’ll discover Van Gogh’s flowers, Picasso’s portraits, Matisse’s fish bowl, Monet’s garden,  and more!  Come ready to have fun and ready to paint!

Fee: $125  for Museum members, $150 for not-yet-members

Folk Art (Ages 7 – 12)
Tuesday – Friday,  June 28 – July 1, 2022, 9:00 am to noon

Proportion and perspective are not important in this class but expression and originality are!  Create whimsical ‘antique’ folk art and unique  ‘contemporary’ folk art.  Paint, draw, sculpt, and more!

Fee: $125  for Museum members, $150 for not-yet-members
