2023 Children’s Summer Art Classes

Please note: All classes will take place in the Booth Museum Borderlands Classroom EXCEPT Pottery classes, which will be held at the Booth Art Academy (1 N. Gilmer St, Cartersville, GA 30120).

Radical Reptiles I  (7-12 years)
Tuesday 6/6- Friday 6/9/23
Registration deadline: May 23, 2023

Where else can you combine two of your favorite things (art and reptiles) into one week of fun? You’ll be able to interact with live animals as you create art inspired by these amazing creatures!

Fee: $125 for Museum members

The Art of Bookmaking: Tell Your Story (7-12 years) *Class FULL
Tuesday 6/13- Friday 6/16/23
Registration deadline: May 30, 2023

This special bookmaking program includes paper making, book binding, book illustration, storytelling and writing!
Finish the week with a special book that tells your unique story and meet award winning children’s book author R. Gregory Christie!

Pottery I (7-12 years) *Class Full

All levels of potters are welcome in this class where you are certain to have plenty of messy, muddy fun! You will learn pinch, coil, and slab building and get lots of time on the potter’s wheel!

Art Explorers (7-12 years)

Explore a little bit of everything in this workshop! Participants will make a different art project each
day as they paint, draw, sculpt, and more!
