May 17 – August 14, 2022

Throughout the school year, primary and elementary school art teachers expose their students to a wide variety of art mediums. For this exhibit, each teacher has selected a number of pieces that are representative of the work from their school art programs. Opening reception April 14, 2022. March 24 – July 31, 2022

Western works of art in private Texas collections is the focus of this year’s “Sweet Tea VI” exhibition. After visiting numerous private homes and cultivating several upper level Booth memberships, these collectors have agreed to loan pieces from their collections to share with the rest of the Booth membership base. February 17 – September 10, 2022

When Kenny Rogers decided to take up photography he went all in, learning from some of the best on the planet. Former Ansel Adams assistant John Sexton regularly went on shoots with Kenny between performing gigs. Yousuf Karsch, the master portrait photographer, not only gave him tips, but also wrote the forward to a book on Kenny’s photos. Rogers loved shooting his celebrity friends and using photography as a way to meet new ones. His images of iconic Western lands are as breathtaking as his images of common folk are poignant. Featuring nearly 60 images this exhibition highlights a facet of a multi-talented man many didn’t know about and sheds new light on the seriousness of Kenny’s hobby. January 22 – May 15, 2022

T.D. Kelsey grew up on a ranch near Bozeman, Montana. During his career he was a rodeo cowboy, trained and showed cutting horses, and worked as a commercial pilot for United Airlines until 1979 when he resigned to devote full time to his art. His interest in, and promotion of, Texas longhorn cattle, maintenance of a wild horse herd on his ranch, passion for Africa and its wildlife, and concern for the conservation of wildlife worldwide have inspired many of his works. He is known for his intense, impressionistic sculptures that capture the spirit of his subjects. He is a member emeritus of the Cowboy Artists of America. Click here to view Friends Reunited.

January 4 – March 6, 2022

Using a limited palette and art supplies like sketching tools, oil and acrylic paints, Wildlife Artist Ashley Rader brings her mixed media subjects to life. She says, “I want to capture the beauty and detail of the wildlife that I have loved my entire life. I strive to create a sense of vitality in each painting. November 9, 2021 – January 2, 2022

Members and guests are invited to view the 18th Annual Kids Cowboy Up exhibition featuring artwork by members of the Boys & Girls Club of Bartow County and the Hands of Christ After School Program. October 21, 2021 – February 27, 2022

Artist M.C. Poulsen has embarked on a multiyear journey to hike and ride horseback into the backcountry of Yellowstone National Park and capture the waterfalls that the general public never gets to experience. “Painting the Falls of Yellowstone” a PBS Documentary that aired on June 2017 highlights this journey that parallels the early artists Moran and Bierstadt who captured the mystique that draws the public to Yellowstone today. Poulsen doesn’t want these cosmic beauties to remain hidden in the backcountry; he wants to share them with the human race, so they, too, are flooded with the same emotions he experienced click here to view a tour through the exhibit.
