The West Fest Pumpkin Painting Competition will take place at Booth Western Art Museum, 501 Museum Drive, Cartersville, GA 30120 on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Available participant spots will be awarded on a “first come-first served” basis. Participants must register by October 11, 2024.Only one (1) person per family per age category may enter. Participants will be notified via email if they are selected. Participants are required to provide their own medium-sized pumpkin (average grocery-store size, 10-inch tall or less) and art supplies. Pumpkins will be judged based on: Use of the Theme (Western), Creativity and Originality, Effort and Care.

- 0-6
- 7-12
- 13-18
No carved pumpkins will be accepted, all pumpkins must be painted. Pumpkin paintings must be family-friendly. Pumpkins MUST be decorated PRIOR to the competition. Participants will NOT be permitted to decorate their pumpkins onsite.
The theme of each pumpkin will be: Western
The Booth Western Art Museum reserves the right to disqualify any submission on the day of the contest.
Two prizes will be awarded per category: Staff Pick ($75.00 Prize) and People’s Choice ($50.00 Prize).
Prizes will be awarded as Visa Gift Cards
