Selling the Western: Movie Posters Old & New

This exhibition will feature a range of iconic Western movie posters, Old & New, from the Booth’s permanent collection. From the beginning, promotional posters have been an essential part of the movie industry. Evolving over more than a century, movie posters are now seen as both a marketing tool and an art form, mirroring the history of cinema itself.
Members are invited to join the Booth Museum on July 19, 2025 for an exclusive Member Opening for Selling the Western: Movie Posters Old & New. Members have the option to register for a 4:00 PM gallery walk (Special Exhibition Gallery) first and reception at 5:00 PM ( Eaton Atrium) or a 4:00 PM reception and 5:00 PM gallery walk. At 6:00 PM all members are invited to Bergman Theatre for a discussion about the exhibition.
