The Booth Western Art Museum is pleased to announce the retrospective exhibition for famed historical artist, David Wright. The Art of David Wright: Historian with a Brush, will feature highlights from throughout his storied career and several important historical artifacts seen in some of Wright’s paintings.
During opening weekend the Booth Museum will host a Saturday afternoon symposium on the life and times of the Mountain Man, featuring panel discussions with some of the top historians in the country, at 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. This will be followed by a reception at 4:30 p.m. and a lecture at 5:30 p.m. by Wright on the highlights of his career.
Opening day activities are free for Museum members or can be accessed with a special $35 opening day ticket, which must be purchased in advance.
