3-Day Painting Workshop with Artist James Swanson / “Putting Color in Perspective”

Join Oil Painters of America Gold Medal-winning artist James Swanson for a three-day workshop focused on color theory, painting strategy, and expressive animal subjects. James will share the approaches behind his award-winning paintings through demonstrations, individual critiques, and practical guidance throughout the workshop. Artists will learn techniques for achieving instant color harmony and making colors appear brighter, cleaner, and more vibrant through Impressionist concepts, while enjoying plenty of painting time with one of James’s award-winning water dogs and several other animal subjects. The workshop is designed to be lively, challenging, and lighthearted, helping artists grow with confidence while strengthening their understanding of color and composition.
Minimum of 8 students, Maximum of 16 students
FEE: $550.00 for Booth Museum Members, $625.00 for not-yet-members
