1-Day Pop-Up Workshop with Artist Nancy Franke / “A Day in Provence”

9:00 am –4:00 pm
Flowers, French scenes, and Provençal inspiration will be the vehicle in this one-day session to express movement, color, and shimmering light on the canvas! Nancy will demonstrate her approach to eliminate detail, simplify backgrounds, and use varied paint application. This one-day session will focus on creating expressive floral paintings from life. Students will paint French florals set-up on Provençal tablecloths. If time allows, students may also paint scenes photographed from Nancy’s 10 years of visiting and teaching in Provence, France.

Minimum of 8 students, Maximum of 16 students
FEE: $250.00 for Booth Museum Members, $325.00 for not-yet-members
