Join singer-songwriter Scott Thompson for a preview of the Booth Writers Guild new series featuring Distinguished Songwriters. This quarterly series will bring top Nashville songwriters to the Booth talk about their writing process and current projects. They will also sing songs they wrote that helped make people like George Jones, Patty Loveless, Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton and George Strait famous. During Art for Lunch Scott will talk about his writing, sing some songs and share what he is looking forward to hearing from the songwriters such as Tony Arata, who kicks off the series on Sunday, March 12 at 2:00 p.m. Arata wrote the Garth Brooks hits “The Dance” and “The Change,” and many more. Watch virtually on Booth Museum’s Facebook page or YouTube channel.
