Events

By Month

A month by month look at events that take place throughout the year at Booth Western Art Museum.

Southeastern Cowboy Festival & Symposium

Enjoy entertainment throughout the four day event, including Western music, fast draw competitions, performances of the Re-enactment of the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, demonstrations of traditional Native American dances. The Kids Corner of the Festival and Symposium will feature a variety of free activities for children.

Southeastern Cowboy Gathering

The Southeastern Cowboy Gathering is designed to celebrate our rich Western heritage and is a unique opportunity for residents of the Southeast to explore the West without leaving the South.

Civil War Comes Alive!

This day-long event celebrates the Sesquicentennial (150th Anniversary) of the Civil War. Visitors are able to experience what life was like on the home front, listen to authentic music, chat with soldiers from the Union and Confederate armies, view Civil War art and artifacts, watch cannon demonstrations, and so much more! Activities are held at Bartow History Museum, Booth Western Art Museum, and on the Booth Museum festival grounds.

Boots and Saddles

Join friends of the Booth for cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres, entertainment, music, surprises, and just a darn good time! Dress casual and wear your Western attire.

For the Love of Art Gala

The Booth’s annual fundraising gala will begin with a cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by a gourmet dinner and live art auction.  The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the Booth Western Art Museum Lifetime Achievement Award to artist Mort Kunstler.
