3-Day Oil Workshop with Artist Susan Patton / “Loosen Up”
Wednesday – Friday, September 25-27, 2024 9:00 am –4:00 pm
After hearing many artists say, “I wish I could paint looser,” Susan developed her most popular workshop that teaches what “painting loosely” means to her. This workshop teaches what you need to know to paint “loosely” – by addressing not only brushwork, but also edgework, sensitivity to color temperature, design, and how to fully understand your subject before you paint it – no matter if it is portraits, still life, figurative, or plein air. This class welcomes beginners, but students with more than 1 year of painting or drawing experience are encouraged to attend.
Minimum of 8 students, Maximum of 16 students
FEE: $300.00 for Booth Museum Members, $375.00 for not-yet-members
