5-Day Workshop with Artist Tina Garrett / “The Art of Composition”

Join ARC Living Master Artist Tina Garrett for this 5-Day workshop where each artist will compose and create and finish one painting with Tina’s guidance. Intermediate and above painters will learn the art of composition. Understand the power of narrative, atmosphere, space, values, edges, chroma and more and the practical methods of using these tools to compose works of art that evoke an emotional connection with the viewer. Learn how to know what you really want to say in your work and the practical methods to say it. Packed with lectures and detailed hands-on demonstrations this workshop is for oil painters who are ready to take their work to the next level. This workshop is as close to mentorship as workshops get. You’ll work with professional models, gorgeous costumes, and Tina right by your side as you create a finished oil painting. We will paint from BOTH life and from photos.
Minimum of 8 students, Maximum of 14 students
FEE: $1,425.00 for Booth Museum Members, $1,500.00 for not-yet-members
