Passport to the West – SOLD OUT
An educational outdoor program on American Indian culture (Eastern Woodlands and Plains tribes) designed especially for school groups (Grades 2-12)! Demonstrations of pottery making and/or chair caning, spinning, chuck wagon cooking, American Indian flute construction and music, life at a trading post, and life in a gold mining camp will fascinate students as they speak with demonstrators on their educational journey to the West! The final day of the Festival & Symposium will begin with Cowboy Church, a non-denominational service featuring cowboy prayers and Western spiritual music, and then continue with another full day of entertainment, children’s activities and the Western marketplace from noon to 5:00 pm on the Festival Grounds.
