Matthew Witt and Jim Dunham will discuss the institution of the Presidency, and its evolution, from the genius of the Founding Fathers, through its turbulent history, reflecting presidential performance where its power waxed and waned.Lunch: Turkey and pesto on ciabatta, red pepper bisque soup, and pumpkin pie will be available for $10.00 plus tax. Circle members will have the opportunity to bring two items for appraisal and hear from Wes Cowan, founder of Cowan's Auctions (now part of Hindman). An internationally recognized expert in historic Americana, Wes stars in the PBS television series "History Detectives" and is featured appraiser on "Antiques Roadshow".
