Presented by the Booth Writers Guild, the Distinguished Songwriter Series is a quarterly program hosted by singer-songwriter Scott Thompson that brings top Nashville songwriters to talk about their writing process, current projects and will also sing a few of their songs. Trey Bruce has written ten number one singles on the billboard including, “Whisper My Name” by Randy Travis, “How Your Love Makes Me Feel” by Diamond Rio and “A Little Bit of You” by Lee Roy Parnell among others. He has also co-written numerous singles for other artists, including Faith Hill, Leann Rimes, Trisha Yearwood, Trace Adkins, Reba McEntire and Carrie Underwood.
Nashville Songwriters Hall of Famer, Mark D. Sanders, has written 15 No. 1 hits, 50 singles, and over 200 cuts, including the famous Lee Ann Womack single “I Hope You Dance.” Also, songs for Trace Adkins, George Strait, Lonestar, Rhett Akins, Cole Swindell, Reba McEntire, Faith Hill, Tracy Lawrence, Chris LeDoux, Garth Brooks and many others.
