3-Day Painting Workshop with Artist Michele Usibelli / “Techniques & Composition for Dramatic Paintings”
Join this intensive, 3-day workshop and discover approaches and techniques for creating dynamic paintings. Incorporating the design elements of Composition/Design, Value, Color, Paint Application and more, Michele will guide you through her painting process from concept to completion. Workshop will begin with an abbreviated lecture on the principles of design and composition, Michele will reinforce these lessons through demonstrations and one-on-one instruction. Students will experience and study all aspects of painting from life, to photographs, even plein air, weather permitting! Students should bring photographs, field studies and plein air paintings from which to work. Students working in oil, acrylic, gouache, watercolor and pastel are welcome to attend.
A fun and informative class, Michele has built her reputation on giving each of her students special instruction that is timely and appropriate, specifically geared for where you are in your painting journey. CLICK HERE for more information on Michele.
ADDED VALUE: Michele’s workshop was designed to coincide with a workshop being taught by Jane Hunt. Students will receive all the benefits of studying with Michele, along with several ‘bonus’ learning opportunities for both groups and instructors to interface!
