2-Day Workshop with Jill Basham / “Getting Unstuck”

This workshop provides intermediate to advanced students an opportunity to explore new pathways to painting the landscape with an emotional context. Working with oil, students will learn approaches to aid in moving past artistic blocks. On the first day, we will watch Jill’s demonstration and learn more about where you are on your journey of painting. We will then have dun loosening up and thinking “outside the box.” Intuition, design, and memory will come into play! The second day will start with a demonstration and will build on the idea of moving outside of your comfort zone. This will include exercises to aid in simplifying and strengthening your work.
Minimum of 5 students, Maximum of 12 students
FEE: $350.00 for Booth Museum Members, $425.00 for not-yet-members
