BAA 2-Day Painting Workshop with Artist James Richards / “The Way I See It”
Friday, May 2 – Saturday, May 3, 2025
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
In this workshop I will share the concepts, ideas, and techniques that I use to create light-filled paintings. I begin each day with a lecture/discussion and samples to reinforce visually what is covered. I then do a demonstration to show how to apply what I have taught. Proceeding the demonstration, I will work with the students as they work and paint on their own. Day one: We will work on several (4) small studies (5×7-6×8) with the focus on design. Day two: We will take the favorite of our studies and develop it into a larger painting (16×20) with the focus on technique.
Minimum of 8 students, Maximum of 16 students
FEE: $400.00 for Booth Museum Members, $475.00 for not-yet-members
