3-Day Workshop with Artist Bill Farnsworth / “Figures in a Landscape”
Bill Farnsworth will teach a 3-day oil painting workshop dealing with figures in a landscape. Bill will demo every morning to show students how a figure in a landscape can give the painting scale and a strong narrative. He will emphasize getting the gesture right and how to weave two pieces of reference together. Students will start the first day planning their painting in black and white to get their value structure right. The last two days they will work in limited color.
