DESCRIPTION:3-Day Intro to Colored Pencil Workshop with Artist Sheila Hendrix\nThursday – Saturday\, June 5-7\, 9:00 am –4:00 pm\n\nMost of us have some experience dabbling with colored pencils\, either as a child in art class or as an adult with colored pencil coloring books.  But did you know that they are much more sophisticated than just doodling?  In this workshop\, we will delve into this versatile fine art medium\, while we create a colored pencil bird painting.  We will explore various colored pencil techniques including how to layer color using different pencil strokes and pressure\, as well as burnishing and fusing those layers to create a smooth blended look.  Various tools will be utilized as well\, including colorless blenders\, solvents\, and even some common household items.  By the end of this workshop\, students will have the knowledge and confidence needed to take their colored pencil artwork to a whole new level. \nMinimum of 6 students\, Maximum of 14 students \nFEE:  $300.00 for Booth Museum Members\,\n$375.00 for not-yet-members \nREGISTER
