SUMMARY:BAA 3-Day Sheep Portraiture Workshop
DESCRIPTION:3-Day Sheep Portraiture Workshop with Artist TJ Cunningham\nThursday – Saturday\, July 11-13\, 2024\n9:00 am –4:00 pm \nJoin us for an intensive 3-day workshop focused on the intricacies of sheep portraiture. Within this immersive setting\, participants will create an  oil portrait of a sheep.  Before diving into the painting\, immerse yourself in several sketches and studies\, sharpening your observation and technique. This is the best way to understand what a sheep’s face actually looks like.  Benefit from on-the-spot guidance. I’ve limited the workshop to 12 students so I can have more time to help you with your painting.  With genuine sheep skulls’ aid\, grasp and accurately depict the sheep’s head’s anatomy.  Choose from a handpicked photograph collection or bring your own.  This in-person workshop is an unusual opportunity for novices and those familiar with our online sessions to deepen their understanding and skill in sheep portraiture. Space is limited to ensure focused instruction. Please feel free to register now and embark on this comprehensive artistic journey. \nMinimum of 9 students\, Maximum of 12 students\nFEE:  $500.00 for Booth Museum Members\, $575.00 for not-yet-members \nREGISTER HERE

SUMMARY:BAA 3-Day “Understanding the Essentials of Color in Oil” Workshop
DESCRIPTION:3-Day Oil Painting Workshop with Artist Amanda Lovett / “Understanding the Essentials of Color in Oil”\nAugust 21-23\, 9:00 am –4:00 pm \nColor theory can become as simple as one\, two\, three. Using a three-color palette\, we will spend three days working through exercises that will help strengthen your understanding of color mixing\, color schemes\, creating mood\, and much more. The development of this class was rooted in what I learned while working with John Pototschnik to produce his book “Limited Palette\, Unlimited Color”.  This very structured workshop utilizes talks\, demos\, exercises\, hands-on painting\, and plenty of one-on-one instruction. \nMinimum of 8 students\, Maximum of 15 students\nFEE:  $450.00 for Booth Museum Members\, $525.00 for not-yet-members \nREGISTER HERE \nFor more BAA classes\, CLICK HERE.
