DESCRIPTION:3-Day Workshop with Artist Celeste McCollough / “A Deep Dive into Landscape Color (in Oils)” \nGiven that we can never exactly replicate the colors we see in nature\, every painting ideally makes a statement about the artist’s intention. This workshop will explore how to formulate a definite color intention and implement it. Strategies will be taught about how to use the building blocks of color to create a harmonious painting. Demonstrations will emphasize particular points and each student will receive one-on-one instruction. Bring some of your favorite photographic or other references to work from.
