Home School Fridays
Join instructor Mersia Martin in exploring a variety of mediums and techniques in these classes for home school students, ages 7-12. Students take home a completed art project at the end of each class. Classes meet the first Friday of the month, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm.
February 3: Lascaux Cave Art
March 3: The Point of Pointillism
April 7: African Masks
May 5: Frida Kahlo
Fee: $10 for Booth Museum Members / $12 for not-yet-members

Enjoy a fun-packed day at both Booth Western Art Museum and Bartow History Museum. At the Booth, you can explore The Presidential Gallery, participate in hands-on art activities, and experience informative learning stations throughout the museum. At Bartow History Museum, hear special presentations about the “letter” Presidents (FDR, JFK, LBJ), compete in a Presidents’ Day “Space Race”, play “Presidential Jeopardy”, and enjoy an art activity. What’s the Rush?
Georgia, California and the Economics of the Gold that Connected Them

Students will explore the history of both the Georgia Gold Rush and California Gold Rush on the Museum Festival Grounds and inside both Bartow History Museum and Booth Museum. This year will have an ECONOMICS focus for grades K-8! Enjoy living history presentations, pan for gold with both wet panning and dry panning stations, trade for goods at the expanded Trading Post, discover where gold was found, visit a boom town, and so much more!
Cost: $5.00 for students, $3.00 plus tax for adults.
