HOME SCHOOL FRIDAYS

Join instructor Mersia Martin in exploring a variety of mediums and techniques in these classes for home school students, ages 7-12.  Students take home a completed art project at the end of each class. Classes meet the first Friday of the month, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm.

Dial de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)

Explore the ancient origins of Dia de los Muertos and learn why it’s gaining popularity in the U.S.  Discover authentic flavors, create traditional art, and participate in other aspects of the Day of the Dead Festival. This is a joint program with the Bartow History Museum.

All activities will take place at the Bartow History Museum.
