GEORGIA YOUTH COWBOY POETRY CONTEST

Each year, the Booth Museum conducts the Georgia Youth Cowboy Poetry Contest in conjunction with the Annual Southeastern Cowboy Gathering. Doc Stovall, a well respected songwriter and cowboy poet, facilitates the contest. He is available to set up workshops for students in your area and can be contacted at 770-387-1265 or docs@boothmuseum.org.

The contest is open to students in four age groups: grades five and six, grades seven and eight, grade nine and ten, and grades eleven and twelve. The top ten finalists in each age group will compete for cash prizes at the Museum during the Cowboy Gathering at March.
