Celebrate the Booth’s 9th Birthday with a day full of activities including continuous entertainment in the Booth Theatre, art activities throughout the building, and a free lunch for members.

SCHEDULE

10:30 am: Unveiling of Fritz White’s In Search of the Snow Goose on the Booth Museum North Lawn
Recently donated by member Anne Eldridge, this large Indian sculpture will be unveiled by Executive Director Seth Hopkins to help kick-off the Museum’s 9th Birthday Party.

Ballroom, Galleries and Grounds Schedule:
10:30 am to 3:30 pm:
- Games in the Ballroom including bean bag toss, snake in the bucket and art activities
- Art exhibition featuring work from students in the Booth Art Academy and Johns Creek Art Center summer camps
- Introduction of Booth Emerging Artists Guild (yarn bombing, chalk drawing and wall painting available on the Museum grounds)
- Information and demonstrations by members of the Booth Artists’ Guild and Booth Photography Guild

Booth Theatre Schedule:
10:30 am – Noon: Film screening and lecture featuring Geronimo
In partnership with Georgia Public Broadcasting, Booth Museum will show the American Experience film Geronimo, followed by a brief presentation by Booth Museum Historian Jim Dunham on the life of Geronimo. Dunham will also highlight some of the works of art in the Booth collection depicting this Western legend.

Noon – 1:00 pm: Phil Helton the singing cowboy

1:30 pm – 2:30 pm: Magician David Ginn performing the story of Lewis & Clark through magic

2:30 pm – 3:00: Phil Helton the singing cowboy
